At Optimal Therapeutics, massage therapy is more than relaxation—it’s an essential component of recovery, performance, and long-term wellness. Our licensed massage therapists take a therapeutic, movement-informed approach to bodywork, blending clinical knowledge with hands-on skill to help you move better, feel better, and live pain-free.
Whether you’re an athlete pushing performance, recovering from injury, navigating pregnancy or postpartum changes, or simply managing daily stress and tension, our massage services are designed to meet you exactly where you are.
We proudly offer massage therapy at both of our locations, with specialized services tailored to support the nervous system, muscular balance, mobility, circulation, and overall health.
Each of the services below is rooted in intentional, results-driven care.
Sports Massage
Designed for athletes of all ages and skill levels, sports massage supports the body through every phase of training and competition—including pre-event preparation, post-event recovery, injury rehabilitation, ongoing maintenance, and performance optimization.
Whether you’re a youth athlete, weekend warrior, or competitive professional, this targeted approach focuses on sport-specific muscle groups to improve mobility, reduce soreness, enhance recovery, and help prevent injury—so you can train smarter, move better, and perform at your best.
Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage encompasses a range of evidence-informed modalities designed to support stress reduction, pain relief, and the treatment of specific musculoskeletal issues. Each session is customized based on your goals, symptoms, and how your body is presenting that day.
Techniques may include deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and classic Swedish massage, or a combination of approaches, depending on your preferred outcome. Your therapist will apply the appropriate techniques and level of pressure to address dysfunction, reduce tension, improve mobility, and support overall recovery and performance.
This service is ideal for chronic pain, injury rehabilitation, postural imbalances, ongoing maintenance, and nervous system regulation.
Prenatal & Postpartum Massage
Designed to support the changing body during pregnancy and the recovery phase after birth, prenatal and postpartum massage helps reduce pain, swelling, and muscular tension while promoting relaxation, circulation, and overall comfort.
Supportive cushions and side-lying postures are used to ensure proper positioning and to prevent pressure on the abdomen, allowing for safe, effective treatment throughout pregnancy. All care is provided by therapists trained in evidence-based prenatal and postpartum techniques, with each session thoughtfully adapted to meet the unique needs of each stage.
This service is ideal for addressing low back and hip discomfort, postural changes, fluid retention, stress, and postpartum recovery.
Thai Massage
Thai massage is a dynamic, movement-based therapy that combines rhythmic compression, assisted stretching, and joint mobilization to improve flexibility, circulation, and overall mobility.
Often described as “assisted yoga,” this full-body approach helps restore balance, enhance body awareness, and support both physical and mental relaxation—making it ideal for those seeking improved movement and functional range of motion.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic drainage is a gentle, rhythmic technique designed to support the lymphatic system, helping to reduce swelling, improve circulation, and promote the body’s natural detoxification processes.
This service is beneficial for post-surgical recovery, inflammation, fluid retention, immune support, and overall wellness, and is performed with light, intentional pressure to encourage optimal lymph flow without overstimulation.
Intra-Oral (Buccal) Massage
Intra-oral massage is a highly specialized technique that addresses muscular tension and dysfunction of the jaw, face, and neck by working both inside and outside the mouth. This approach is particularly effective for TMJ dysfunction, jaw pain, headaches, facial tension, and stress-related clenching or grinding.
By releasing deep muscular restrictions and improving neuromuscular balance, intra-oral massage can help restore proper jaw function, reduce pain, and improve overall comfort.
Myofascial Massage
Myofascial massage is a targeted, hands-on therapy that focuses on releasing tension and restrictions within the fascial system—the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, joints, and organs. By applying sustained pressure and gentle stretching, this approach helps restore mobility, improve circulation, and reduce pain caused by tight or restricted fascia.
This full-body technique enhances posture, movement efficiency, and overall physical comfort, supporting both rehabilitation and ongoing maintenance. Myofascial massage is ideal for those seeking improved flexibility, pain relief, and better functional movement.
Assisted Stretch
Assisted stretching provides guided, one-on-one support to safely access deeper ranges of motion and improve flexibility. Each session is tailored to your body’s needs and movement limitations, helping reduce muscle tightness and enhance mobility.
This service pairs well with training, rehabilitation, or recovery programs and is beneficial for injury prevention, maintenance, and performance enhancement. You may book this as an added service before or after your massage session.
SportStretch®
SportStretch® is a floor mat, movement based, full body routine that consists of both actively and passively stretching a client. It can be done as an individual treatment or integrated into the end of a massage.
This work can be used as a warmup prior to activity, as it can invigorate an athlete and get them ready to move, or it can be applied as recovery work, to relax them after activity. You may book this as an added service before or after your massage session.
Rapid Neurofascial Reset
Rapid NFR is a neurologically based, active manual therapy that addresses the central nervous system’s role in relieving tension and restrictions throughout the body. Using hands-on assessment and targeted movements, therapists evaluate and treat muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves to restore mobility and reduce hypersensitivity.
This evidence-based approach combines precise pressure with specific patient-guided movements to quickly alleviate pain, improve muscle activation, and optimize movement patterns. Treatments are performed fully clothed in comfortable athletic attire and are highly effective for acute pain, chronic dysfunction, injury recovery, and performance enhancement, often producing noticeable results in a single session.
